Madeleine Brady

Director, M+B Consultancy

Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent over 25 years working at a senior level in global pharmaceutical communications, leading teams, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and advising leaders through periods of significant organisational change. I know what it is to hold competing demands, to perform under pressure, and to question whether the life you have built still fits the person you are becoming. That experience now informs everything about how I work therapeutically.

I gained my Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Regent's University London. My approach is grounded in existential  principles: rather than offering techniques or quick fixes, I work with clients to explore meaning, identity, and the patterns that shape how they relate to themselves, to others, and to the choices they face. My clinical experience included long-term placements with Mind. I am continuing my post-MA training with a clinical placement at St Thomas' Hospital in London, working towards UKCP accreditation.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and an active member of the Society for Existential Analysis, co-hosting the annual conference for two years.

I am also an accredited leadership coach with the International Coaching Federation (ACC), with coaching experience across private and corporate settings. This dual perspective means I understand both the inner world of the person sitting in front of me and the professional context they are navigating.

I work with adults facing burnout, transition, relationship difficulties and anxiety. Many of my clients are professionals who appear to be coping well from the outside but feel that success is coming at too high a price.

I offer sessions in-person near Harley Street, London and online.
