From Arriving to Thriving: A Four-Week Group Coaching Programme for Australian Professionals in London

Relocating to London is a huge achievement but there is still a lot that goes on between arriving and thriving.

Performing at a high level is challenging at any time but becomes even harder when you are also establishing yourself in a new place, building support networks and trying to make the most of your overseas experience.

This small group coaching programme, run over four weeks, offers recently arrived Australian professionals a structured space to reflect on their transition, address what might be causing friction and build genuine connections with peers in the same position.

About me

I am an Australian who has been living in the UK since 2001. I understand what it’s like to build a life and a career here. I remember the challenges of the early days and am still grateful for the foundations that I established all those years ago. But I often felt it was harder than it needed to be. Yes, it was exciting but there were also moments of real loneliness and disconnection, not to mention homesickness.

I have set up these groups to give some of the support that I wish I'd had, particularly when it came to nurturing a career which mattered to me.

As an ICF-accredited executive coach, I work with professionals who are operating in demanding, fast-moving environments. I also support people who are in times of transition where questions around identity, meaning and purpose feel really important.

I have also worked at Global Director level within multi-national organisations and understand the pressures and opportunities that come with growing a career that is meaningful while making the most of being in a different country.
